Tom Wirth Joins BearTracks Advisory Board

We are excited to announce that Tom Wirth has joined the company's Advisory Board.
Tom's first Collaboration with BearTracks
Tom's relationship with BearTracks dates back to the company's founding. In 1990, while managing mail operations at Apple, he identified a critical gap in enterprise package management. The tools available at the time could not support the scale, accuracy, and accountability that large organizations require. He approached Tony and Randy, founders of BearRiver (BearTracks' parent company), to build a solution. That collaboration produced the first version of what is now BearTracks, with Apple as the first customer.
Tom's Career Journey
Tom went on to hold operations and facilities leadership roles at Cisco, Google, and Meta. At each organization, he implemented BearTracks and continued to influence its development. His 15 years at Meta included seven years as a Facilities Services Lead for North America, overseeing mail and package operations across the company's facilities.
Throughout his career, Tom has had direct involvement in how enterprise mail center software has evolved. The operational challenges he encountered—managing multi-site operations, maintaining chain of custody, building workflows that scale, ensuring systems are usable by frontline staff—drove product requirements that shaped BearTracks into what it is today. His perspective is grounded in decades of hands-on experience implementing and operating the software at some of the world's most demanding technology companies.
Our Partnership going Forward
As an Advisory Board member, Tom will provide guidance on product direction and company strategy as BearTracks continues to expand across higher education, pharmaceutical, and technology markets.
" Tom has been shaping this product from the customer side for 35 years. Having him involved as we think through product direction and where to innovate next is invaluable. " said Swati Agarwal, CEO of BearTracks.
